Higher Ranks [Must be earned!]
Alpha: The leader of the entire pack. They may decide about who eats first, promote/demote canines to a specific ranking and make overall the decisions for the pack. They are highly respected and their word is law. If you disobey or disrespect a canine with this ranking, your wolf has to take the consequences [demotion, punishment, etc].
Beta: The right hand of the Alpha(-s). During the absence of the Alphas, the Beta´s are usually in charge until the Alphas may come back or promote someone else. They are, as well, much respect from the entire pack and may help the Alpha to make decisions.
Chief: The Chiefs are young wolves, trained to become Beta one day. These wolves have no control over the pack, though they help out the Betas and Alphas and maybe the other rankings as well. During their time in training the Beta´s will train those young canines. [often times the heir of the pack, though it´s entirely up to the Alpha, Kedos, himself]
Elite: The Elites are the leads of the four, main rankings; Titans, Providers, Healers and Caretakers. There may only be one Elite pro rank. They simply keep the lower ranks in line, guide them and watch if they do their jobs correctly. For example, the Elite Titan is often the guard of the Alpha, the Elite Provider organize the hunting trips and so on.
Lower Rankings
Provider: Providers are one of the most important roles in a pack. They bring back food from the hunting grounds. These canines are mostly not as bulky as the combatants, however, they have great stamina and enough strength to bring down prey.
Titan: Titans are the muscles of the pack, the warriors. These canines will fight against everything and everyone, risk their lives during fights, only to protect those who live in the pack. They are treated with much respect. Do not mess up with these wolves, they are mostly fierce and have a short temper.
Healer: Healers are often helpful canines, always looking out for their pack mates safety. If there´s an injury to treat they will not hesitate to deal with it, it doesn´t matter if you´re a loner or a pack member; The healers will always try to get you well as soon and best as they can.
Caretaker: The Caretakers take care of the pups, obviously. These wolves are kind and enjoy being around pups. While the parents are occupied with their jobs, the Caretakers will take care of the little bunch of joy.
Yearling: The Yearlings, just as the name states, are wolves with the age of one. The youngsters will be trained by the Elite of the rank they wish to be in and only by the Elite. Yearlings may have a better chance to become Chief since they can be trained to be one, however, as mentioned earlier, it´s entirely up to the Alpha.
Pup: Pups are the youngest canines of the pack. They can´t hunt for themselves and will often be around either their parents or the Caretakers. All members will protect the pups with their lives. They are the future of the entire pack.
Follower: Followers are simply newcomers, loners who are currently not in the pack. After talking with the Alpha, the Beta and maybe even the Elites about the desired ranking, they´ll be put into their rank.
Omega: The omega is the lowest of the low. These wolves either commit a terrible and unforgiveable crime or are simply too timid and weak. The omega´s try are somewhat the peacekeepers of the pack, they make tensed situations a bit more relaxed. I shall mention that members are allowed to vent their frustation on these canines so enter this rank on your own risk!
